    I agree with you there Bern,
    don't like referring back to the Miners strike but there was unjustified actions from very few miners, under extreme duress, from many thousands of people, ranging from government and opposition, police & other force's & much of the media.
    Who? What? And why? Did not interest the large majority of Miners, they were not political militants that people like to paint them. They just knew that their pits and communities were being taken away from them, unjustly, and they knew they had to do something to try and stop that happening.
    Whoever the fault lays with does not detract from the fact that our coalfield was shut, causing massive unemployment and everlasting social problems in our communities, whilst sitting on 200 years of the best coking coal in the country.
