Folkestone Airshow tomorrow as well as the Tattoo Fun Day and also a big WW2 event at the Castle !!
Red Arrows are displaying at 1pm and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at 15.46
The BBMF has a Dover flypast scheduled and the Reds are at Manston before and after their display so are likely to pass (but there schedule isn't posted for the weekend as it would usually be)
Not sure what else might pass....
Been nice knowing you :)

I'd forgotten about the Folkestone Airshow Paul, thanks for reminding me.
It's a shame all these great events are on the same week-end; it's also a pity the Jubilee isn't over a month, then there could be separate events on each week-end in June.
I'm doing two events (hopefully).

Met office weather for Folkestone saying fine and good visibility for today, certainly does not look that way looking out of my window in Deal

did anyone get pictures of the flypast?
came over my house making a deafening noise about half an hour ago.
4 seagulls on the roof didn't bat an eyelid and the cat was not woken from her slumber.

excellent work david, my ones were out of focus and not centred.
that first one sums up the beauty of them in flight.

They came via Maidstone, daughter's other half saw them while at work, we saw them from the back garden flying towards the castle.

Well, I went to the air show. The weather cleared up nicely, although there was a cold wind down on the seafront where I watched it. Here are some photos then:
The Typhoon was impressive.

Great pictures there, thank you.
I was at the Corn Mill having a beer or two (as you do at a beer festival) when the Spitfires went over and we all rushed outside to see them - such an evocative sound.
Difficult to get to more than a couple of events, with so many in one week-end.
