I read in the K.O.S that work has started on making Tontine Street in Folkestone two way for busses & taxis.Of course local traders are not very happy over the lost of car parking spaces. The work will continue until next march.
If you ever travel that road you will know that is not very wide now, what is it going to be like when it become two way,I should think there will be a lot of accidents on the stip of road.

I was there yesterday saw the signs and yes it is a narrow road but they did the same to Tram Road and despite all the predictions of chaos I don't know of any accidents that have happened.

It's all totally unnecessary- local traders will be totally at a disadvantage. But who cares when Shepway and KCC are dutifully following their obsequious obsession.
Never give up...
