Keith is not the proof there when you look up in the sky?

After all we now know what the stars are, we have a good idea about the vastness of the universe and the billions of galaxies each made up of billions of suns. From the very few suns (stars) that have been observed closely we know that planets are commonplace orbiting these stars as well. Earth-like planets are certainly less common but if just one planet is earth-like per billion suns then there must be billions upon billions of earth-like planets. If so there will certainly be life on them and from that it is a small logical jump to the thought that there must also be intelligent life.

The law of probability should be enough proof for anyone with an open mind.

Scientists also believe that the building blocks of life were deposited on earth by meteorites and I am quite certain that the earth wont be the only planet to have been bombarded with meteors.
