Yes, there are early signs that things are becoming problematical in Germany.
Fund managers have issued a warning about German Bonds (bunds) saying they are no longer a safe haven. 'Spreads' have widened to a record Euro era high on bunds. It is thought that the ECB will need to urgently buy up debt and a crisis of confidence could emerge.
Thing are getting worse in the Eurozone while things seemingly have gone quiet. These warning signs from the markets must be listened to. With cracks emerging in Germany now matters could reach a breaking point.
Make no mistake this is important to our economy and our recovery and sticking plaster cannot keep being applied to the problems of European sovereign debt and excessive government spending.
