Guideline alcohol limits may be raised for the first time in 20 years.
MPs are to examine the evidence behind official advice that men should drink no more than four units a day and women three.
That is the equivalent of two pints of ordinary strength lager for men and a large glass of wine for women.
The review could see drinkers granted one extra drink a day
Whoopee !! as if anyone gives a toss what the corrupt govts advise.

You are suggesting that we are being limited in what we drink Marek, suggesting we are being 'granted' an extra drink a day. It is just medical advice and we can ignore that, it has no credability as this kind of thing is always changing. Governments should just not bother and this shows there is more scope for cuts.
'Corrupt government' ...... no government is more corrupt than the last one.
All government is incompetent by its nature and that is why government should be small and not do much.

Again you misquote me. I did not say this corrupt govt but referred to ''corrupt govts'' plural.
A list of MP's repayment of expenses published in full in todays independent newspaper reflects how they are all as bad as each other. As a matter of interest Prosser only had to repay £650 ....compare that to the top of the league ''repayer' a tory at £42k..

Government and Parliament are different Marek. In our system government is derived from parliament and is answerable to it. This is a very important distinction. If you mean corrupt parliament then say that, not government as only one MP in 6 is a member of the government.
As for expenses - no you are wrong. There is now a lot more transparency (after all that is why you are now seeing what is claimed..) that did not exist before and we are not seeing the kind of abuses that went before.
As for Prosser - regardless of how much he had to pay back there were many MPs who did not have to pay anything back at all of all parties. Your trying to party politicise that says a lot about you. Besides, the main problem with him, other than his politics, was the fact that he was totally useless as an MP.
