  If amateurs with a pair of wire cutters can allow demonstrators to enter a major airport runway imagine the mayhem a calculated entry by terrorists could achieve?

  Clearly a matter of great concern in the times we live in. Airport perimeters are so huge that security patrols have no chance of policing fully and the stronger the wire used would just mean stronger cutters employed. Surely a foolproof alarm system is the only option?
