  Seriously Howard, do they really think they can land aircraft in mid channel without effects on thru channel shipping , let alone the cross channel industry. a non starter & Boris has no control in the English Channel let alone lower parts of Thames Estuary. There are already complaints from residents about low flying traffic from Manston off the coast without night flight problems.
  
  So treat it as joke. No doubt is could be built engineering wise but channel traffic will kill it dead. Don't see the French loving it.
