I dont know those areas Keef as defintely well before my time here, but so many people I meet reminisce about days of old when Dover was a much better place. Bustling busy thoroughfares and shops aplenty. Was very interesting on the evening of Mayor Making at the Town Hall when Terry Sutton made his speech. Terry as you all know was presented with the Honorary Freeman of Dover award and during his speech he expressed sadness at the way the town had gone downhill during his time. It was surprising to hear him say it as he is an enthusiast for all things Dover as you can see in his writings. If a man like that says so then it must be true.
