    Regards tailgating. What I do is just slow down.

    The way I look at it is that if I have stop suddenly, if they do hit me then my car won't have too much damage.

    On the M2 once I was tailgated by a lorry going through a 50 mph stretch due to road works. Driver in front braked suddenly due to missing his turning, I stopped without hitting him but unfortunately due the driver behind tailgating me rear ended me, writing my car off. Had fiancé and future mother in law in the car at the time. We all escaped unharmed but I'm now vary of being tailgated.
