14:4774652Yes indeed Brian she.. the legendary Claire Raynor, everybody's nagging godmother has passed away, supposedely leaving that message you quote there. She has gone to where all agony aunts eventually go, the land of wagging fingers in the sky....bet David Cameron will look after the NHS from now on as he wouldnt be wanting her appearing to him in the dead of night every night hereafter.
In recent years she was relatively benign as age caught up with her, but in the 80's in London she was quite a fearsome fingerwagger!

15:0374654there used to be an agony aunt on the radio during the late seventies called anna raeburn, very intense lady.
there was no time delay in those days, everything went out live and when they realised that a call was a "wind up" they simply played music for a few seconds and then pompously turned on the caller.
i cannot repeat on this forum the "problems" that i asked anna to help me with.
sadly she was unable to help.
