  has any one seen the rather catchy age uk advert on the telly over the last week or so.its rather entertaning and well worth a watch.

  If you mean the one with all the oldies, I have and I think it is awful, luckily we are all different.

  I'm with Jan on this, they're all stereotypes of what Age UK thinks we hope we'll be like once we reach a certain age and far too respectable in comparison to the oldies I know - I saw a lady of uncertain age in a pub this lunchtime, immaculately dressed, dripping with jewellery, and with her empty barley wine bottles lined up on the table in front of her like a badge of honour, way to go
