I had one through the letter box the other day. A rather large (and long) load.

on reading the route it bypasses aycliffe altogether, avoding a rather steep hill,in which it would struggle up.

I just wonder how it got past the shops with the islands in the middle of the road!

It's next Sunday Terry, so we wait and see.
They've probably done a desk-top study and think it will work O.K. It usually doesn't, so will be interesting.

I have to admit that puzzled me Terry, which was one of the reasons I put this on the forum, maybe when the route was planned the area had not been visited as you say Roger.
I would have thought it would take the more direct wider road route and not worry to much about the hill rather than Folkestone Road with its very obvious problems.

if they are hoping that everyone will take the sensible course and park elsewhere they are being very optimistic.
