  I use one also and no way could I put up with all those irritating unwanted adverts again so will stick with mine.

  Kent OnLine is equally awful and they slow down page loading.

  The problem is that newspapers need the advertising to pay for the websites, I think it will not be long before printed newspapers disappear altogether or turn into freesheets. Balance is required as people have said here about accessing the Dover Express page without being bombarded with ads.

  That doesn't particularly help with the bills I get each month for running this website. Most ad blockers allow you to make exceptions...perhaps you (and anyone else using an ad blocker) would consider doing so for this site?

  Sorry Chris I did not realise that ads were even blocked on here, I have just unblocked this site.
  
  Adblock is absolutely necessary on the Dover Express it is the only way to make their articles readable.
