been a lot of traffic going up and down my road in the last half an hour resulting in a traffic jam a short while ago.
as this is completely unheard of i went out to ascertain the reason and was told that a young lad had been knocked down on the bridge near the station - ambulance and police in attendance.
hopefully it is not as serious as it sounds.

According to a witness it was a young boy who ran into the road in front of a car, it does not sound good as the ambulance left with a police escort. I feel sorry for the driver as well as the child.

i agree jan by all reports it was not a speed thing, just the kids playing the usual game of chicken that happens there on a daily basis.

not only on folkestone road... they do it all the time on belgrave road too. I have told them off once last year when One of the boys jumped to the road from behind a parking car. Likely I wasnt driving, I was on foot.
But I do hope the young Boy pulls through and for the Driver I really feel for as this is every Motorist worst nightmare :(
