Last night at 6pm the queue for Whitfield roundabout started at Coldred, and at 10pm all the A20 traffic was coming via Folkestone Road and York St.
This morning Simon Calder on BBC Breakfast was advising anyone wanting a last minute short European break over Easter to avoid trains and planes and travel via Dover, as the only route with spare capacity - look out!
