Townwall Street this morning
Families getting out of their cars in stationary traffic looking for a toilet; cars and lorries blocking the hatchings at Woolcomber Street; Enterprise car transporter backing into Townwall Street traffic; port delays due to weather and "technical issues". Emergency vehicles having to weave through queues of stationary traffic.
I thought that TAP and the A20 "Intelligent Traffic System" was meant to stop queuing traffic on Townwall Street allowing better traffic flow into the Port and relieving local residents of car and hgv petrol and diesel fumes. It quite obviously is neither effective in this respect nor very "intelligent".
