A 41-year-old woman, seriously injured in a collision on the A20 near Dover, last Friday (3 August 2012) has died in hospital.
The woman from Germany, who was a passenger in a Volkswagen Golf, died yesterday (Wednesday 8 August 2012) in the Royal London Hospital where she was taken following the collision.
The car was involved in a collision with a white Ford Transit van at 7.30am on the coast bound carriageway at Aycliffe. Three other people in the car received minor injuries.
Kent Police's Serious Collision Unit is continuing to investigate the collision and witnesses or anyone with information should contact officers on 01622 798538.
A 48-year-old man from Southampton arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving on Friday has been released on bail until 12 October pending further investigation.
