It certainly is welcome Howard.
It's sad that it has taken so long and as Kent Highways are responsible for local roads and pavements and the Highways Agency for the motorways, that it has been determined that it is the responsibility of DDC for paying for the clearing the rubbish.
Perhaps it would help if there were bins at each of the laybys to put the rubbish in - save it blowing all the way along.

The A20 clean up is scheduled for 16th to19th March. Stretch from Aycliffe to Hawkinge.
The A2 is scheduled 25th to 28th March. Stretch from Duke of Yorks to Lydden.
Both clean ups will mean lane closures & in some cases will carried out overnight .
Clean ups can only take place when the Highways are prepared to allow lane closures.
