Well stone me....as I only did the very same thing as Pauli Watkins yesterday...photographing the working boats on Deal Beach. Have just uploaded a collection of pictures from yesterday onto the frontpage. I caught the sun while there and so I was lucky with the photographs ..the sun adds colour.

while on the beach the Air Sea Rescus helicopter thundered past, here it is whizzing past the pier, the cafe appeared to be packed there..still run by Jasins who didnt make a go of it here in Dover..
Its great to see boats still working from there, a chap was selling sprats direct yesterday, fresh out of the sea..
