A worker on Dover docks.
- 22 July 2018 07:54346635A friend of mine has been a worker on Dover docks, tying up the boats for around 25 years, now he has terminal cancer.
he says Apparently, Under the old agreement, he would have received full pay for up to 3 years, But this has now been cut under the new agreement to 1 year ???
he said to me this bunch of c,,,,s turned up at his house to tell him they are stopping his wages because he has been lucky enough to survive over one year on radium treatment?
What sort of bean counter would think to cut the wages of a dying man who has worked for them for over 25 years?? And would this be happening if he was in the top jobs??

But whats happened to the great docker's unions? excepting an agreement change of 3 years to one year ??
