BAT WALK AND MOTH NIGHT, KEARSNEY ABBEY, DOVER
Join a short walk around the lovely grounds of Kearsney Abbey, stopping to hear about bats
and listen with bat detectors. We'll walk through the big trees, grassland and finish near
the lake to watch the bats feeding over the water.
Also, take the opportunity to learn about the moths attracted to the light traps. You can stay as long or as little as you like. Please bring a torch and a bat detector if you have one.
Suggested donation of £2 appreciated.
Please note: there is open water at this site so do not let children run off. LEADERS: Shirley

Missed it again due to work.Are there any more of these evening moth walks this year?I went to one at Elms vale rec and at Samphire hoe a few years ago.They were really enjoyable.

A GLOWING NIGHT TIME STROLL (Green Gang)
An evening walk along a short stretch of canal to hopefully see the glow worms. We will
walk a little bit further along to see some of the zoo animals at Port Lympne and then return
to the dam to watch bats and then glow worms on the way back to the car park - with a
look at a moth trap to finish off.
Please bring a torch and be brave and bring a friend to hold
