Varsi may go before Hunt but next week an Opposition Day motion will put pressure on Cameron to act.
The final details of the motion have yet to be agreed but it is expected to stop short of a vote of `no confidence`,in an attempt
to persuade Lib/Dems and Tory MP`s to back it too.
Lib/Dems and Tory MP`s are asking for Hunt to be investigated by Sir Alex on the Ministerial Code.
When in opposition Cameron was frequently calling for the Ministerial Code to be applied when Government Ministers actions
were,in his opinion,doubtfull.
Every one in the country believe Hunt`s actions are more than doubtfull. !!!!

POST 41
Mr Hunt's actions are more than dountful, he clearly should neve have been given the job given his actions prior to getting the job, whilst in the job, and even after.
this then calls into question mr cameron's judgement on appointing mr hunt, and even now mr camerons gives mr hunt his full support.
it's like a slowly sinking ship

What would happen if the Government lost a vote of no confidence?
What would be the technical implications, and could this lead to an early General Election?

They could of course carry on as the largest party but it would become a bigger and bigger problem as they couldn't rely on the lib dems keeping them in office.
this would be a drip drip effect towards a general election

So the question is, now that it's become clear the majority of LibDems in Parliament may go over to a coalition with Labour during the present legislation, what does the Tory party intend doing to gain the confidence of the public?
They can't just keep kicking opportunities into the long grass.
People are becoming fed-up, see no reason why we should all -except a minority - have to continue to suffer. And even the house of Windsor doesn't throw coins to the crowds.
So once these celebrations are over, and another added bank-holiday has blown a 0.5% hole in the GPD, effectively causing a continuation of the double-dip recession, people will ask: what next?
Has the Conservative party got any plans in mind to get the economy on track, through something innovative, or are they just going to sit there till 2015 kicking everything into the long grass?
Surely, they would lose so much confidence among the public, that the LibDems, who by then would have long deserted the Coalition, would stand a chance of overtaking the Tory party in popularity, and Labour would be poised to a landslide victory anyway.
My chess-board projections tell me that unless something is decided and soon to put our economy in a position of hope, the Tories will lose so badly and enormously, they will enter history as the party that literally flung away every occasion and steered towards the rocks.
Their u-turns have become proverbial, even Sky News has long since adopted Keith's phrase: u-turns. They print the headlines with: another u-turn.
This is becoming farcical, and even the IMF have said that the British Government cannot just go on with spending-cuts but must look at economic recovery too.
Something is going awfully wrong up at the top in the Cabinet, I'm surprised that hundreds of Tory MPs can't see this, that they let this just happen come over us all.
This whole Nation ultimately is waiting for the Government to do something, something that is not inflicting penalties on the masses, flinging away every occasion to move forwards and doing continuous u-turns.

the country will go to an election, and the green party along with labour will come out smelling of roses.

If you are right, Brian, and you may well be, then the Tory party have dug the abyss beneath their own feet.

Baroness Varsi already with an expenses problem to answer has now been found out for making a Ministerial trip with her
business manager.
Cameron who within minutes of Hunt leaving his seat at Leveson declared he need not face Sir Alex in respect of the
Ministerial Code has within minutes thrown Baroness Varsi to Sir Alex for investigation in respect of the Ministerial Code.

double standards or what reg???
on the question of elections, unfortunatly true blue voters always go out to vote even with this present shables of a cobbled together govt.
quite a lot of lib dems mp's and ministers and even the membership at large, are seeing the light, this will bring down the present govt.
cameron has so many problems,
if he pleases his 1922 tory committee then he upsets the lib dems
if he pleases the lib dems the 1922 committee will have him out by xmas.
tough at the top
but that won't be cameron's worry much longer

Dr. Bob Goldfield had announced there may be a cabinet reshuffle in Spring 2013.
Looks like there may be one much sooner.
