Saw a very smart dog waiting outside Co-op in Sandwich a few days ago.
Quite a big dog, white and light brown, very clean and tidy and well behaved, waiting patiently for its owner.
He had lovely bright pink nail varnish on all his nails, very neatly done - and knew he was being admired !!

That reminds me of when my children painted our dog's nails with my new bright red nail varnish.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

shocking to do that to a dog, i can remember when poodle owners used to make their pet look more like a topiary than a dog.

Dale Winton once drove by here in his RR coupe with the top down and his two toy poodles beside him, one pink, one blue. (the palest shade of each)

Sadly it's something that has drifted across the pond, nail polish for dogs and dogs being dyed (albeit with a type of food colouring, but even so.)
Tom - Dale stopped off at a sandwich bar my friends owned in London a few years ago in the Rolls Royce (personalised number plate.) My friends 3 year old put his chocolate hand prints all over the side. Dale was fine about it!

A toddler with taste, yippee! The future of the world is assured.
I am sure he was his charming self...no recommendation as to which colour the child should be dyed?
