    I remember the series well BarryW. It was required viewing in our household.

    I cannot find any dvd versions of the programme, but, having searched for years to find the BBC series, The Borgias, only yesterday I found it on a new website specialising in old stuff: http://www.tv-nostalgia.com/home.htm
    Whilst the series was slated for using an incomprehensible Adolfo Celli as the main man, the superb music went under most peoples radar. I bought the dvd this morning, 29 years after it was first aired!
