Dave - I think the reason for that is because having made the effort to give up smoking they object to having to inhale other peoples smoke. I do feel sorry for some landlords but I still think the government did the right thing.
Brian - What a very silly comment!! Does your reasoning mean if I go into Argos and buy a vacuum cleaner I have to clean the store? If I go into Lawrences and buy one of their excellent meat pies, must I consume it on site? If I go into the library and borrow a book must I read it before I leave? No of course not, I take my goods home and eat/use them there. What is wrong with buying your cheap coffin nails onboard ands taking them home?
