paul, just let you know that there are some very disgruntaled peopl up at aycliffe especaly in gloster ropewalk.today was recycling day.like all good citezens we put our recyclelng this morning, the recycle truck useally arrives at 7 am,but for some reason today it was around 3 pm.in the mean time we had force 7 winds today, and a majority of plastic and cans ended up in my front garden and allso my nieghbours.the reason being we have blue boxs instead off blue wheelie bins.
i have know have 3 large black plastic bags of recycling around by my normal rubbish bin,my nieghbour has the same.
we gratefully request an exchange from blue boxs to wheelie bins asap.
i have tried phoneing the appropiet department to request a blue wheelie bin but ended up on hold for quite awhile with no one picking up the phone to answer the query.
i would like some kind of responce [not lip sevice] to my quary.
many thanks in advance.

Brian, there are both kinds of wheelie bins that have been on the pavement up Albert Road for 3-4 weeks if you want to 'borrow' them.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

If you phone the number in the paperwork that came with yiour blue box, you can request that a wheelie bins be delivered.
Million-to-one chances crop up nine times out of ten.

I don't have a problem with the bins, or collection times but I do have a problem with them not being emptied.
They are always left with some residue still in the bottom, especially the food bin.
I am not saying they should be clean but surely they should be empty?

wouldn't bother brian, the council office has been closed for over a week.
every person in the district that has a real or imagined gripe will be lined up outside the doors for when they open.
