  I hate this dam war and want out lads and lassies home but Peter I cannot agree with you over the Heroes Programme, yes celebrities are there but in many cases these are celebrities that those getting the awards admire themselves. Anyway the programme brings home and gives total respect for what our service personnel are doing over there, the risks they take for others and the injuries a good many are coming back with.
  
  Without such a programme all we would hear about sadly are those that have made that final sacrifice, we would never get to know about the devastating injuries many have to live with for the rest of their lives. I just wonder what the total figure is of those maimed for life because of military service in this war which is why the programme must continue.
  
  God bless them all and bring them home safely and the more TV coverage they get the better it may just make people think about why they are out there at all. Remember we can all thankfully have an opinion sat behind a computer key board.
