  The BBC local pages are reporting that it was a Reliant Scimitar convertible. Once a marque favoured by our esteemed royals. Fortunately the driver suffered only minor injuries but I do feel a twinge of sorrow for such a beautiful and iconic British car.

  Wonder if the driver had a medical issue or just a moment of putting his foot on the wrong pedal.Done quite some damage considering the Scimitar is made of fibreglass.

  andy, an old boy + passenger your probably right,.. garage re opend around 5 pm.staff and customors sufferd with shock, driver was the only one injurd,car a virtul right of along with stock damaged.
