Good Luck with that Matt.
Do you need some "FREE" help ?
I am working for the Channel Chamber of Commerce as Dover Business Support and Wok-Placement Manager and am contacting local businesses every day to ask if they would like a free pair of hands for between four and six months - to help in any way they can.
The youngsters are aged between 18 and 24 and will have gone through a 2 month's assessment and training schedule to make them "job ready".
There is absolutely no cost to the employer and they are contracted to work 25 hours a week.
If you have the opportunity to offer some work-experience/work-placement for young people - and it can be anything from say IT work, to lansdcaping; the only proviso is that it is related to the business.
If you'd like to email me if you can find work for one or more young people, please do; my email address is:
roger.walkden@channelchamber.co.uk
Both sides of this coin are winners - businesses get some free help and the young people get the work-ethic and experience of going to work - they're not unintelligent, just unemployed.
