PaulB was kind enough to allow me to post a blog on Dover Forum recently that was damning about some local HealthCare Services. I was grateful for that, and for the real and tangible support that flowed from it. Thank you to all involved - you know who you are. You made and continue to make a real difference. I am sharing with you now my other blog - it does not complain, carp, harp on or shout. I wanted to share it so that you might understand that complaining is not my first port of call, although I am not averse to it when it is required. I make no apology for the HealthCare blog - it was needed and I would do it again. It was sincere, accurate, and needed to be done and I know my way around the system.
I will share with you some of the outcomes of the original HealthCare blog as they arise - I owe it to you.
I will attach the link to my other blog in the next posting so I can use the URL attachment.

I note its been running since Oct 2010...... I'll be back....said someone....to read the earlier postings. Very interesting but for Petes sake don't allow Vic on your blog...it would do 'my 'ead in' as my kids would say.

Marek
I think therefore I am (not a Tory supporter)
Advice noted Marek!! I wouldn't bother with the earlier ones, Marek - I will just be glad if you read any of it at all!! One night, perhaps, when you can't sleep.............

No you are right Bern, there is more that can be done to make the NHS better and most of the staff are trying to do just that.
And when things go wrong like what happen to your family the N.H.S, need to be told and hopfully it will stop it happing again. I would like to see more of the Public of Dover joining up as a member of the trust that can be done by just one phone call, and I can email that number across to any one who would like to know more about membership.

Bern -
Love your blog on Happiness...
here are some quotes I have found...
"We share our happiness with each other -
and it becomes greater.
We share our troubles with each other -
and they become smaller.
We share one another's griefs and burdens -
and their weight becomes possible to bear."
"Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed.
Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude."
~ Denis Waitley
"If you contribute to other people's happiness,
You will find the true goal,
The true meaning of life."
(HH. the 14th Dalai Lama)
