    Keith, it's a forgone conclusion that more and more people will be ready to agree with a Government decision to impose a form of one-off tax on the super rich.
    Such a decision from the Government is not discussed in the UK at ministerial levels, at least not openly.

    But I've been suggesting it for a few years now, and the Cyprus bank-account confiscation has undoubtedly opened many eyes as to how quick and swift any decision can go, with full EU backing.
    Only, in that case, all savers are being targeted, not just the super rich.

    But the hammerings received by me left a sense of self-preservation that took precedence over an urgently required economic decision. Any warning that the Government is aware of my idea for a one-off super rich tax and would take measures to ruin my future career as a result, led me to think of everything I could stand to lose, and so I backed off.
