    How about a bridge from the Western docks roundabout to the Eastern Docks roundabout, across the inner harbour? It would mean no dock traffic using either the A2 or A20 would interfere with local traffic (sorry DTIZ, half of your customers have gone!) and the pedestrian crossings on Townwall St could be re-instated.

    It's technically feasible (the Jubilee Way viaduct was originally over water) and could be included in the Western Docks development. Just a bit too logical I suppose.
