A Bridge to far
- 22 July 2015 17:14284648As you know we have been working for some time on a very old railway bridge out at the E.K.R.T. but sorry to say it can not be used as we had first hope for the cost was very high and we was still looking about £100.000 to get it back to how it was and putting it back into public service ,the main parts will still be used and the public will see them,but it will not be going up and across the line. So we are now about to restore the steam train this will not be so much of a cost for the first year but if it is to run again at some point it will take a few £1000 .I would like help with it if you can put up with me for a few hours aweek. Thank you.We are off to Scotland again in a few weeks time but hope by then the public will see a change when looking at the steam train.

- 24 July 2015 07:58284719The work on the steam train starts this weekend you can see all the work as it is being done or even help sorry you must be 16 or over to work on this project. Once it is done the young ones will be allowed to climb up inside the cab a platform is going to be build all round it .
