So much interesting and useful information there Maggie, I didn`t know how to start commenting the other day. I have a treasured book at home entitled `A Pageant of History`, published in 1958. A Christmas present from my parents around 1961, it`s where I first heard of Nurse Edith Cavell, and being a child at the time, couldn`t understand a nurse being shot. How I hated the Germans at that time. Anyway, her judges and executioner`s are dead, gone and forgotten but her name will live on forever. I`ve read so much about her since.
