Drivers from Stagecoach and prior to that Regent coaches have always been very flexible and helpful by making unofficial stops on the hilly parts of the journey to help older passengers get home more easily. Since the re-routing took effect the bus doesn't have the old problems of Malvern Rd and Clarendon Place so the drivers are much happier. The route takes the bus to the top of Belgrave Road turns right into Westbury Crescent then when it reaches a group of garages turns around goes back downhill and stops at Clarendon Place.
Many of the older people live up at Westbury Heights and Crescent so drivers stop at the garages if someone wants to get off.
Doesn't affect anyone or cause an obstruction, unfortunately someone with a chip on their shoulder has been taking photographs and sending them to Stagecoach pointing out they shouldn't technically be doing it so it has now been stopped.
Maybe the answer is to petition Stagecoach for an official bus stop to be installed by the garages.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Couldn't have a bus stop along there Jan, not suitable for picking up people. The present way is to let off people just outside the garages so that any traffic is not disrupted.
