I saw them trying to recover the Land Rover this afternoon.They had managed to winch it up the bank but couldnt lift it with the Hiab as the jack legs on the recovery truck were starting to sink.The Hiab was on its maxium lift being fully extended and the overload buzzer was sounding.It still hadnt been recovered at 5.00pm and i think they might have been waiting for another crane to arrive.With the damage to the Land Rover i think the driver is lucky to have survived.
