More on this bunch of incompetents, about a month ago they asked me for meter readings by e mail, i complied and they then updated both of my bills which are in credit.
Today i received a further e mail asking why i had not paid my bill.

Switch to Eon Howard.
I switched from Npower in December as they wanted to increase my dual-fuel payments by £20 even though I was in credit and saved £20 a month straight away. Eon have again reduced my bill by a further £40 so altogether I am saving £80 by moving from Npower. As an aside Eon also advise me when they are in the area for meter readings and their online bills are easy to read.

Might try that Jan, trouble is last time i changed it took so long for the switch to be completed the price had come down from my original supplier. I seem to remember the government telling energy companies to pull their finger out and making changing much easier.

I found it fairly easy with only the awful Npower holding things up by not asking for my final meter readings.

Almost on cue Brutish Gas cut their prices by 5% to take effect on the 27th February whilst their biggest rivals cut theirs taking effect on the 13th January albeit by only 3. 5%. No doubt the prices will rise again as soon as next winter starts.
