According to the BBC (
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-the-papers-49704674), The Express's leader column says most people would agree with the sentiment expressed by Oliver Cromwell in 1953, when he told parliamentarians "In the name of god, go!".

As the error's been corrected, I guess it at least shows that the BBC's new 'fake news' policy (by which the broadcaster will be 'moving quickly and collectively to undermine disinformation before it can take hold') is working. Shame, I thought maybe we had our own scuttled away dictator, something along the lines of The Portage to Putney of O.C.

Has the Express just woken up to the fact that "Britain Has Lost Faith In MPs", I thought that happened a few months ago or should that be years ago. Come the next election I believe there will be a lot of new faces on both sides of the House simply because those intending to stand again have ignored the wishes of majority of their constituents.
I think the latest defection by Sam Gyimah is a shining example of what a self serving bunch far to many of them have become. He along with any other MP who switches 'teams' should have resigned his seat, especially as he now stands for the complete opposite of the Brexit viewpoint his constituents chose at the last election.

If nitpicking I'd probably demote Cromwell (slippery puritan tyrant) and elevate Hereward the Wake (anti-Bastard). But a decent list, and the best man won.

What with our being on the brink of civil war, what better time to find out where you stood 370 years ago. I came out 100% Leveller (a bit off; I guess the Diggers were out digging) but also 38% Army Grandee; odder, as they were opposites at Putney. Still, keep your friends close but your enemies closer and all that...
