    My biggest bugbear is the admin side, a few weeks back i got a letter through offering an appointment for an assessment that i couldn't make so i rang the number they listed if there was a problem. Rang it and was told i needed another number, tried that and was continually asked for a extension number or state the department. Each time i stated the department the call was cut off, after 8 goes i gave up.

    I then got another letter stating the date of surgery, this time i was given an extension number to ask for - got through first time and a voice said that she was on holiday until the 23rd of August and gave another number if the enquiry is urgent. Tried it many times and is just rings out.

    No doubt the hospital will make great play of me missing 2 appointments.
