  The Service & March past at Deal Castle was another memorable occasion despite the wind giving the veterans carrying their standards difficulties at times.
  
  Cadet forces on parade with the a magnificient array of ex service personnel on parade.
  
  Rev. Peggy Fishlock delivered an excellent service.
  
  Civic heads from all our towns & the District were present with MP & his prospective opposition candidate also in attendance.
  
  The parade master Malcolm Wells was as ever "on the ball" with Keith Anderson delivering the Exhortation & the Burma Star reciting the Kohima verse.

  The beret has now bee re-united with the owner who didn't even know it was missing until I made a phone call, ahh the wonders of a few pints in the Royal British Legion club eh.
