Thanks Roger-as soon as we refloat the vessel and acquire ownership-that's when the promotion really starts. Establishing working relationships across the country takes time-especially in the current industrial climate. I'm glad to say that all the other stakeholders on Teesside consider us to be a viable contender for the ship. Currently Dover is 'Bona Vacantia' where it normally passes to the crown-however by royal perogative they have also disowned the vessel. We could declare our ownership tomorrow-but the question of liability has to be settled in our favour.
Bringing Dover back to Dover would be something worth celebrating and her presence would add another icon to the rich heritage of Dover. Before that happens there is much to accomplish. Our work continues apace.

Arrh! Shiver me steelwork!..it'll take alot to see us scuppered me hearties!
