  Just back from a few days in London and have to say that Dover is most certainly not looking its best for The Open. The appalling traffic at the Roundhill Tunnels (wait until the school's break up!) is likely to irritate many visitors arriving by car. Dover Town itself is awash with road works of all manner (gas, sewers, etc), and the fountain in the market square is fenced off. At a time when there may be visitors in the town, it certainly doesn't give the impression of a town working hard to appeal to visitors.
