    Bern/JanH, I know exactly what you mean. I walked down that way last weekend with family over from Ireland to show them the new seafront and they were horrified by the state of these shops/buildings in comparison to our lovely seafront. Its such a shame that parts of the town are so neglected, surely something could be put in place to start cleaning it up once and for all.

    It is indeed great to have the Open back in our district again. I have just returned from there, the preparations that went on behind the scenes over the last week were enormous. BarryWS is there looking after the players over the coming week.
