I have an old piano which I am disposing of. I note that just above the keys is a marker plate of McCullock and McCullock Company, 13 Cannon Street, Dover. Does anyone know of this company? The name could be of a piano manufacturer or dealer. Looking at Google maps the building is obviously pretty old but the facade is relatively new. The building looks as if it was large when first built so perhaps now it could be flats.
It would be interesting to me to find out the history of the company, when it opened/closed etc. and if they had the entire premises. Anyone out there know anything about the history of the building for instance when it was built and by whom. The piano appears to be old as it has candle holder holes drilled above the keyboard but, alas, no candle holders themselves.
Fascinating site by the way. Have spent some considerable time looking at all the topics.
    Many thanks
