It is the Mary Ann Brewey and very nice it is too. There is a very nice old fashioned local pub just a short walk from where we live so nipping for a quick pint at the end of the day is very enjoyable. At the moment there is a Tennerfest.

117 pubs and restaurants are participating where you can have an excellent 3 course meal for £10 to a max of £17.50. The radio was advising diners to book as tables were booked solid. It brings life to all the restaurants and pubs in the quiet season leading up to Christmas.

I took Marites out for lunch to a nice country inn in the middle of the island. We ordered homemade soup and mary ann beer battered fish and chips £10 per head.By the time we left about an hour or so later 46 people had entered the pub and ordered food.It was a great atomsphere. The whole island appears to be involved in it.People still love a bargain and it keeps the pubs going.
