....when the sheriff arrives in town the bad guys depart........

As I arrived in Brussels over the weekend the gang running the EU quit town......

Seriously though the tv pictures of EU leaders receiving their undeserved Nobel Peace Prize in Norway does nothing to advance the cause for peace.  It merely discredits the whole Nobel organisation while showing EU leaders at their junketing self-promoting worse.

 

Good for David Cameron for not attending and there was no better way of showing contempt than by sending the EU yes-man and toadie, Clegg, in his place.

There was a time when winning a Nobel prize, of any kind, really meant something.  But after Obama and the EU that is no longer the case.

  There is no evidence that He deliberately snubbed the event. Where is it published any statements from Cameron where He states that He will not be attending for reasons of principle? I can't find any and I suggest that this is pure spin and makeover to make Cameron appear eurosceptic and standing up for Britain blah, blah, blah.
  In fact the only reference to the event I read had nothing whatsoever to do with his contempt for it at all. One would be forgiven for thinking that He was ok with the idea.

  Nothing about contempt there that I can see.
