Advertising
Advertising on www.dover.uk.com is operated on a pre-pay basis, and uses a CPM (cost-per-thousand impressions) structure. One impression (display) of an advert will count when the advert is requested from our servers as part of a web page from any part of this website. We reserve the right to not include adverts on selected pages of the website as and when we see fit. Our non-human visitor detection facility is designed to detect when a page of the website is requested by anything other than a real (human) visitor, in which case we will not deduct from your advertising balance for that single page view. However, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy, and whilst the majority of legitimate search engines and other web robots are relatively easy to detect, other malicious robots (for example, spambots) are commonly known to disguise themselves as human visitors. You agree that you will not hold www.dover.uk.com responsible for any occassion where we fail to detect a non-human visitor, and accept that no refund will be provided in the event that you are charged for such a page view that is later discovered (to our knowledge) to have been a non-human visitor. You also accept that www.dover.uk.com cannot be held responsible for visitors to the site failing to see adverts for any reasons beyond our control, including (but not limited to) any factors relating to the computer or device being used by the visitor to view the website, such as performance, security and display settings.We reserve the right to refuse advertising to any business, organisation or individual for any reason at our discretion. Adverts will be refused if they are considered unsuitable for family viewing. All adverts running on the site must be hosted on our own servers, the charge for which is included in our published advertising rates.
