Kearsney Parks activity day

Friday, 10 April 2015
Everyone has been invited to come along to the Kearsney Parks Activity Day at Kearsney Abbey from 10am to 4pm on Thursday (16 April 2015) - and get involved in a range of free family activities and find out more about the Parks for People project.

The day includes the chance to enjoy a range of activities including face painting, balloon modelling, arts activities, pond dipping and model boating. You will also be able to chat to the council about the Parks for People project, and tell them what you love about the Kearsney Parks and how you would like to use them in the future.

The event is being organised by Dover District Council, who are being joined on the day by Dover Community Radio, the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership, the Up on the Downs Landscape Partnership Scheme and the Dover Model Boat Association.

You can drop in to the Activity Day at any time, but parking is limited so visitors are encouraged to walk, cycle or use public transport if they can.

The Kearsney Parks project is being funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery Fund Parks for People programme. For more information on the project visit www.kearsneyparks.co.uk.
