A joint Homelessness Strategy has been developed by the four East Kent Authorities of Canterbury City and Dover, Shepway and Thanet District Councils, following consultation with key stakeholders.
The draft document is now available online, and your views are sought. The authorities have a strong track record in joint working, and have worked together, and with other agencies and service users, to tackle homelessness across East Kent. The joint strategy will strengthen the partnership approach towards tackling homelessness. The draft document is available at
